2017 Video Contest
The Gloucester County Highway Safety Taskforce announces its thirteenth annual High School Video Contest. Students will have a choice of five (5) topics this year: (1) Driving Under the Influence, (2) Distracted Driving (3) Drowsy Driving, (4) Aggressive Driving, and (5) Safety Belt Use. Students may team up to produce a 30 second video depicting the dangers of the selected topic(s). The contest is open to High School and Elementary School students residing in Gloucester County. The Grand Prize winning video may be aired on commercial television, in addition to prizes for the top video in each topic. 5 honorable mention prizes will be given to videos from all topics combined. Child Passenger Safety Technician Class  
The Gloucester County Highway Safety Task Force and National Safe Kids recently sponsored a Child Passenger Safety Technician class at the Gloucester County Fire Academy. In all, thirty new technicians were trained to properly install child passenger safety seats. There is information available to find a technician or to schedule an appointment to have your seat checked.

Gloucester County’s Distracted Driving Prevention Initiative
